- sure to type your installation drive letter after the word install exactly
- as STEP #4 has it typed.
-
- * DO NOT RUN INSTALL IF....
-
- A) If you have downloaded the compressed program from an online
- service DO NOT RUN INSTALL. Install is not designed to work
- from the C:\ prompt or harddrive. Make the directory FLAG and
- manually copy all the downloaded files into it. If you want to
- run the install copy all downloaded and unzipped files to a
- floppy disk in drive A: and run the install program from that
- disk. Copying to a disk and then running install is a good idea
- because you will then have a backup copy.
-
- B) Your version of DOS is less than 6.0. Use the manual install
- method described in (A) above.
-
- STEP #1: Start your computer and go the C:\ prompt. If Windows is
- running, exit it.
-
- STEP #2: Insert the program disk into the drive you will be installing
- from. That is an external drive. You can not install to the
- same drive, and you MUST install to the C:\ drive. (You can
- move the program to a different drive later on.)
-
- STEP #3: At the C:\ prompt, change to the drive you inserted the program
- disk into by typing A:\ or B:\ and hit enter.
-
- STEP #4: Next type INSTALL A:\ if you are installing from the A:\ prompt
- or INSTALL B:\ if installing from the B:\ prompt.
-
- STEP #5: Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
- The program will install itself to the FLAG directory on your
- C:\ drive. When done, you will see C:\FLAG\> type FLAG at the
- prompt to start the program.
-
- NOTE: MORNING EXERCISES is a DOS program that can be run from Windows
- 3.1 by installing an icon for it or double clicking on FLAG.EXE
- while in the FLAG directory in File Manager.
